WE need a DEVESTATING PUNCHER to come up the ranks to bring in the public...

Every era has had one. Marciano, Foreman, Tyson... WE need one for this new era in boxing.

WE already have all the big superfights happening in 07 which will be the greatest year boxing has had in a looooong time.

Now we just need to keep this up, AND we need to get the public to be interested.

In order to do that, i think we need another devestating puncher to make his way up the ranks, FROM AMERICA, and fight the best guy in his division.

What do u think it'll take to get the publics interest

I think it is mostly a lost cause in America.. The other sports and reality shows have just taken the cake.

oh please. I still cant believe all the people that overrate this guys power. he couldnt knock out shufford who was destroyed by wlad,,,not to mention pudar..hawkins and toney in 24 rounds. he's hasnt once knocked out a top 20 guy. hes as strong as an ox but not a great knockout puncher. his punches are just too long and lack the snap to put the lights out on good fighters

Yeah thats true, sometimes power matures with age, that's why you see alot more succesful older heavyweights rather than older succesful featherweights.
