Nobody outside of you and Audley can see anything in him.
I think the millions who saw his performances at the Olympics and the millions who saw his last fight saw an awful lot in him.

Duke McKenzie and Barry McGuigan have backed him to unify the division, Tyson's old trainer Teddy Atlas said on maxboxing.com last year sometime that Audley had the technique to beat anybody in the division but just not the heart (but the heart issue wasn't the issue), George Foreman and Lennox Lewis backed him to be the next dominant heavyweight. I've backed him for nine years.

that's because they don;t hit hard in the amateurs... it ain't gonna matter, because boxing is 90% mental. without heart, fraudley can have all the technique in the world and it won't get him anywhere near the belts, he's got a better chance of robbing wlad at gunpoint and taking his belt than beating him in the ring

But he's got heart. That wasn't the issue for those two fights and I think I posted that on this board at the time as well.

Where was it, you saw him overcome adversity and beat someone?

              I guess time will tell
that is a non-sense generalization about americans...

im as american as it gets and i was hoping for audley to be the guy who everyone said he would be.... i looked forward to his fights on US Tele and i even managed to get other people to watch with me... and they wanted to know what the hell i had been talking about??

despite what you say about audleys mental state i think the facts reflect that dominic guinn was as mentally shot at the time of their fight as audley was..... you mentioned it was a terrible fight... it was... and guinn won clearly despite not even wanting to.. occasional lame body flurry and half ass combos took the day....

i love the heavyweights, anybody that contributes to making good fights is someone i will root for, audley included, i just dont buy what you are selling... its always going to be obvious he has the tools but at the age of 35 and facing comp such as michael sprott at this point shows that he isnt all that serious about his chances either
