Whats the best book you read about a boxers life?

I heard Ricky Hatton's book is quite funny about his life so far.

I've never read a boxers book. I'm not sure why because I read a lot (3 books a month) and have a wide spectrum of genres and styles that I like. Has anyone read one that is particularly good?

On a side note anyone remember a funny thread about Boxing books that would never sell i.e. How to win over the American Public by John Ruiz....etc etc.

Apparently another great book is, "Raging Bull: My Story" by Jake La Motta which became a film, which everyone knows about.

Ali's biography by Thomas Hauser is GREAT. I read Sugar Ray Robinson's Pound For Pound recently and that was good too.

The best boxing book I have read is 'War, Baby!' by Kevin Mitchell. It's about Gerald Mclellan vs Nigel Benn. Amazing book, you really get a feel for both fighters AND the fight. I absolutely loved it, but then IMO that is the greatest fight of all time so maybe I'm biased!

Right now Valero is holding three world records. The longest knockout streak, the highest knock out rate ever and the shortest average round per fight.

I guess you guys doesn't need a book to find out, who's the real hands of stone.
