Don't get too much excited about Ngoudjo.

I've seen most of Ngoudjo since his professionnal debut. That guy was really bad before the Castillo fight. I don't know what happened that night, but don't get too much excited about his performance.

He fought against a journeyman once (Juan Carlos Rodriguez) and he clearly lost, but he got away with a local decision.

He fought Augustus, Augustus spent like 7 rounds in a row doing nothing but dancing. In the 12th round, he took it seriously and Ngoudjo was close to being knocked out, he went to the floor, stood up and was saved by the bell.

I'm just warning you in case you want to bid money on this guy in the future...

And to answer your question, 115-113 for Castillo was a good decision.

It was a very close fight, Ngoujo started getting tired and less active as the fight went on, and that allowed Castillo to open up more and look like the aggressor. I wasn't suprised with the outcome, but I wish Ngoujo would have pressed more in the last few rounds so he could've gotten the win. It's almost like he let an opportunity go by, and he was just satisfied to be competitive with Castillo.

Castillo landed the better punches throughout the course of the fight and for me won the first round and the last six. It wasn't an exciting fight but Ngoudjo went in there to not get killed and as a result was simply covering up and letting loose the odd flurry. Because his guard was so tight the only punches that Castillo could reasonably land were small tight uppercuts which don't looks as impressive as big flurries with no power but are certainly more effective.

Okay, found the scrap of paper I jotted the scores down on.

As stated, I was half asleep/half pissed (it was 3am for me) so some of them I made a note to rescore later (**** off Diego****o, this is a reply to Run/W - NOT INTERESTED in what you have to say. **** OFF).

Here's how I had it, with the rounds I was too tired to decide on marked with a *:

            round one: Castillo
            round two: *
            round three: *
            round four: Castillo
            round five: Castillo
            round six: Castillo
            round seven: *
            round eight: Ngoudjo
            round nine: Castillo
            round ten: Ngoudjo
            round eleven: Castillo
            round twelve: *

The max I can give is a draw... otherwise a Castillo win.
