A close fight but I can't understand the booing.

Addison, can you select the "public" option for your polls, at all? It'd be interesting to see who votes what.
I know you're right - I'm pissed at myself for that..

It was a relatively easy fight to score.

Outside of the first round....it was all Ngoudjo. Come 7th round, Castillo felt a sense of urgency and outworked Ngoudjo untill the 12th round. In the 12 Ngoudjo felt a sense of urgency and outfought Castillo.

If he didn't fight like he did in the 12th, I would have scored the fight in Favor of JLC by 1 point. If this fight is decided by 1 round.....I think people can just argue over the 1st round of the fight.

Outside of the 12th...the 1st is the only round that is debatable IMO.

The others were clear winners for either Ngoudjo or Castillo.

I disagree, I had a number of the early rounds for Castillo. Although it wasn't vintage Castillo, I favoured his precise and harder punching over Ngoudjo's sometimes ineffective swarming.

So that means you had Castillo winning the fight big time.

Because there's no way you could give the majority of the later rounds to Ngoudjo. That would be absurd.

Bear in mind that when this fight was being broadcast it was 3am my time, so I was half pissed and half asleep and wasn't giving it 100% close attention. By that token I scored some even rounds because I couldn't be bothered to work out who'd won them properly. If I let those even rounds stand, I had it to Castillo by four points. If I gave them to whatsiface exclusively, it made it even.

              It was close.
              Ngoudjo deserves a rematch.

                1,7,8,9,11, - Castillo
                2,3,4,5,6,10,12 - Ngoudjo

Ngoudjo cleary won the fight in my eyes...castillo was landing one punch at a time, while Ngoudjo was landing serious combinations and hurt him a lil! in a rematch, Ngoudjo would blow castillo out the water and knock him out (iam sure that he was scared with it being his first big fight and all)

                  Oh come on.

The only person that has ever knocked Castillo out with punches was Corrales. He's never been on the canvas one time as a pro.

Really? I thought it was a good fight and the thought of an upset was exciting for me, even though it probably would have messed up Castillo-Hatton. Ngoudjo fought good and had just 15 fights, I think everyone thought he would loose except him. But then again I like rooting for the underdog

I had him by one point but it was such a close fight it could have gone either way, I think, including even a draw. A rematch is certainly in order.
