hatton gets it done when he fights...simple as. i'm definitely (lennylewis) looking forward to seeing his bout with castillo.
Well put he might not ever be p4p or even close but he still is capable of beating top fighters consistently. Urango pressured him non stop last night, hurt him to the body and Hatton found a way to win pretty convincingly. If CAstillo gets up for this fight with Hatton we will have great fight in June.
a 10 stone fighter putting on between 3 and 4 stone is fat, he ballons between fights, it's just a fact, i'm not disrespecting what he has done, but being unbeaten means NOTHING in the world of boxing, wasnt Jeff Lacy on a hot streak when joe kicked his ass?
Come now. Lacy had a title and had registered around 20 victories hadnt he? He was and still is a young mouthy over-confident prospect who just happened to come up against one of the most talented boxers of his generation and got a tanking (thus resulting in so many fans saying that he was over-rated...as usual). Hatton has had a full and fair career unbeaten so far. Theres not too many people get to be a multiple belt, two weight title-holder for a number of years with 42 fights undefeated. Tzu might still be by far the best name on his record, but he deserves to be given respect by anyone (as evidenced by the fact that many of the top current boxers, boxing pundits and old champions rate him rather highly), yet he still doesnt get much from Boxing Scene forums. I mean...really?! It does not show this place in a good light.
honestly pbf's running to me is more exciting than ricky's constant clinching!! i can't even belive that hatton would suggest watching his fight with castillo over one of the biggest boxing fights in along time between dlh and pbf..
