Just look at most who bash him.. They like fighters like James Toney, Zab Judah and Floyd Mayweather.. These same people also Hate Wlad Klitschko who is also WHITE,POLITE, respectful and bright.. Its pretty obvious what the pattern is

I don't know why you brought race into the matter because it's not. I'm willing to bet it's Hatton's/ Wlad's fans that cause alot of people to dislike him. Alot of them are just as unreasonable as Mayweather fans & that drives people crazy.

He beat the guy easily and should get credit for that. The only problem is people still saying he's "exciting to watch" and an "all action fighter". That's not always true as evidenced by rounds 7-12.

Ummm Ok I didnt bring in race.. It was more like pop culture.. Polite VS Thug image.. People who like the THUG type boxers dont like Polite Boxers.. If I was mentioning Lamon Brewster.. Those body shots in the 5th round hurt Hatton big time. He slowed down a lot after that, but he was still able to school the guy. Not sure if stamina was really so much a problem as getting ripped with some pretty devastating body punches in succession.

his legs just went in the last few rounds and he clicnhed a lot........more than i have ever seen him do. it was also a fight in which he few the least amount of body punches i have ever seen in a hatton bout.

still......he dominated urango and set up a fight with castillo, so all is well.

... obviously an incredibly limited opponent and it became obvious from as early as the second round that Hatton could just box in and out for a 12 round decision.

A little too much clinching, and it's surprising how the Paler's usually faultless stamina is letting him down lately... is the lifestyle catching up?

But he had it pretty much his own way, one of his easiest fights really.

I can never get over how much criticism he gets on here... with his style I'd expect around 20-30% of posters not to like him (more for the Zoo fight) but for such an extraordinarily high percentage to be bashing him no matter what he does it seems strange. The guy doesn't spend his days raping kittens, but you'd think it to read NSB some days. I still genuinely believe if Hatton's birth certificate said "Brooklyn" he'd be a lot more popular.

I'm not a major fan, and clearly he's not the boxer that Floyd is, but he's a decent enough guy while Floyd's a complete ****. I really can't understand why anyone would be proud to call themselves a Floyd fan when he's such a wanker. Mind you, 80% of Floyd fans on here are total ****s anyway, aren't they?

Seriously, he is a dirty fighter. I like when fighters get rough but I seriously dislike when fighters get dirty. Hatton does that on purpose and he will be doing that for as long as he will get away with it.

For example, he WAS throwing low blows until, to my surprise, the ref warned him twice. Since the second warning, low blows disappeared as if by some kind of miracle. Miracle? I think not.

Then, Hatton got hurt by those body shots. What did he resort to? Holding on for his dear life. Now, if the ref was doing a perfect job (and I thought he did a pretty good one), he would warn Hatton not to do that and the fight outcome could have been different.

This is why I dislike him, he constantly fights dirty and does it knowingly and willingly. Has nothing to do with the race, where he's from, or if he ****s kittens.

P.S. I'm not even going to mention that low blow in his fight with Kostya Tszyu.

because he is white he should get a free pass to hold and hit all ****ing night long. You mention him as being polite, who the **** cares, can he fight without excessively holding and hitting is my concern. You mnetion hatton as being bright well he is the dumbest bright ****er I've ever seen. how does he expect to get US fans by putting on boring mma fights. the difference between fighters like floyd and hatton is training, discipline, and skill level. in all three categories that mater hatton gets put to pasture

Everybody says their guy is #1. The reason you don't like Mayweather fans is because when they say it, it happens to be true.

Why should we support Hatton, who already turned down fighting Mayweather twice only to go back down to 140 and fight a guy like Urango? Then here he is bashing Mayweather, who has moved on to bigger and better things.

Had Ricky not ripped on Floyd for being involved in chess matches after his reasonably boring decision against a limited opponent I would have no problem with his preformance.
