I was dissapointed at Castillo either hes shot or doesnt belong on 140
hes was very slow his punches weren't sharp and powerless I thought
he looked kinda soft. Do you guys thing its because the long layoff?

Yeah, I'm not to sure how much Castillo has left. His hand speed and power just didn't seem to be there. I wonder how much his war with Corrales and making weight hurt him.

i was thinking the same but he did come on strong midway through the fight. I think he was coasting abit seeing as he didnt take that dude seriously.

Maybe its because the other guy was a solid fighter with a good defense. A guy who might have won the fight. I didnt keep score, but it seemed possible that he could have won.

I also think its bull**** that he didnt take the guy seriously because even when he did "pick it up" his opponent was landing solid shots. It was a close fight, both deserve credit. I think HBO is just hyping Castillo up by saying he wasnt taking him seriously.

            No, he's not shot.

Ngojou is a good fighter after what I saw. Plain and simple.

True, also Castillo thought Ngojou will be a cab dirver, I don't think Castillo trained that hard for this fight, still it was a much better fight then the Hatton/Urango fight.

I think Castillo has a few more years left in his tank!

I think it was a close fight, and that maybe his power is gone at 140. But he has to fight more fights at that weight for me to make that decision.

I think he just underestimated the guy and thought it would be an easy night for him. I sure he will come in great shape when he faces hatton b/c that's what he seemed to be focused on.

Ngojou is as solid a guy I've seen on the inside with that few fights. I thought for sure he was going to get taken into deep water, but he's in great physical condition and he'll be tough for anyone to fight at 140.

The only way to beat him is to outbox him on foot. He hit JLC with some really good, crisp right hands on the inside that would have hurt other guys. Only JLC could walk through that kind of stuff.

Ngojou is a bull after watching this outing.
