    Alexis Arguello is underrated

Many people are quick to point out that duran is the best latino ever, is he really? I have been looking at alexis and duran very closely and have noticed that its alexis that does better against top level competition, just look at the guys he beat.

    ruben olivares
    bobby chacon
    ruben castillo
    cornelius edwards
    jose luiz ramirez
    ray mancini
    billy costello
    ronaldo navarette
    rafael limon
    alfredo escalara twice
    jose legra

Thats alot of great/good fighters to have on your resume, you notice duran loses to most of the good fighters he faces.

Came up short against pryor but that was well past his prime, he was a very good fighter, not sure if he or Duran are the all time best latino fighters thou.

...Alexis was the man for sure and one of my favorite fighters. I'm still pissed about the first Pryor fight.

well lets see, duran tkoed ernesto marcel, arqullo lost a ud, duran tkoed vilimar fernadez, AA lost another decison, in the biggest fight of AA carreer he came up short agaisnt pryor, in the biggest fight of duran carreer he rose to the occasion like very few fighters in history have against leanord

On this occasion I may agree that Arguello was slightly better overall. His win against Jim Watt also stands out in my mind. You may be underrating Duran a bit he wasn't supposed to beat Moore or Barkely and he gave Hagler Hell.

If ur gonna say pryor is his biggest fight, which it isnt. then i can say duran lost to hagler, hearns, benitez and leonard twice.
