That whole "WBC Emeritus" thing is total B.S. if it actually allows Vitali to become the automatic #1 contender for the WBC title ahead of Peter.

He hasn't done anything in years that would warrant him this status.

While I think the WBC should have allowed Wlad and Maskaev to fight, with Peter getting a shot at the winner, I have to agree with the above two posters, Vitali shouldn't be allowed to jump to the front of the line after Peter fought twice to become the mandatory. However, I would absolutley LOVE to see A Vtali-Peter fight if Peter wins the title

Even Tyson had to fight a few people out of prison before he had his shot at Bruno and Seldon . Why should Vit be pushed up the ladder ?

Unfortunately for him there's nothing he can do about it. As i said earlier it was stated when vitali retired that if he chose to return he would be automatically instated as the number one contender.

......I agree with you and your right. I was going for a laugh with my comments but it looks like I missed the mark.

I'd like it more if VK gets the winner of Oleg-Peter and in the meantime fights a few bums to get back into things. I think VK-Peter would be a fight I'd want to see.

I wouldn't buy this news about Vitali coming out of retirement. It's all rumour and speculation in my opinion...
