Floyd went the distance with Judah, Corley, Sosa, Baldomir and others.

By that logic he should have been able to finish them because KT finished Judah early, Cotto finished Corley and Sosa early, and Baldomir is like a Soliman of this world. I think it's a simple case where styles make fights.

Again, a fair shout but Mayweather was moving up in weight whereas Winky has been around middle his whole career. And Floyd does still get stoppages.

But I agree with you that Winky's resume is better up until now and maybe he does deserve the top spot.

The basic fact that Floyd is a divisional Champ moving up and still does accrue stoppages is why I'd consider him to closely rival Wright in a P4P list.

See....Floyd might be more impressive but he's never faced anyone of the stars that Wright has handed their ass to. JLC and Chico are the only two names Floyd has ever fought outside of Gatti and Judah(please). Corrales a style made fight against a guy who is like a rocking horse that can be pushed over easily.......and a flat out robbery where he was outpunched, outlanded, chased around and dominated against JLC. Only to make up for that with another robbery.

Wait, so are you saying that Floyd also lost the second fight with JLC?

If Floyd Mayweather didn't completely dominate everyone who has been put in front of him, then I would say Winky... But it is amazing that no one has gotten really close to beating him other than ONE Castillo fight.

Manny's closing the gap like crazy; but Floyd's still on top IMO.

Jermaine Taylor and Ricky Hatton really have no business being on this list either. You could make the case for everyone else but them.

Agreed completely. Both are decidedly in the second half of the Top 10 IMO.

Morales isn't shot...he's close, he's past his best; but he ain't "shot" yet.

and Taylor did not looked anything close to impressive in those Hopkins fights or the Wright fight. IMO, he went 1-1-1. He looks like a talented amateur, not the best middleweight in the world.
