Muhammad ali was not only the most famous athlete of his generation and possibly all time, but there was almost a decade where muhammad ali was the single most famous PERSON in the entire planet.

Stalone made 5 good movies that did nothing for the sport but make it seem like a joke sorta. Poeple enjoyed them, but they didnt become boxing fans because of them

Many, many fighters and many fans watch boxing because of the impact stallone has had with the rocky balboa character. there is no doubt about it!!

Realise how big the rocky saga was and still is from the 80's and its major effect it has had world wide, and you'll realise young underdog fighters got their inspiration from these movies.
