Touch of Stiff is a journeyman. Joe Mesi had the courage to KO him and took him out in one round.
Wlad not only gets in a tough fight with him but gets knocked down cleanly in a competitive fight.
Joe Mesi is garbage and showed more assertiveness and willingness to win than Wlad. That's sad.
As for the Shufford fight, that's when I began to lose faith in wlad. The fight with McCline did it. Both of those guys were terrified of Wlad and instead of putting them out of their misery he played it safe and carried them.
That's what got him KTFOd vs. Brewster and what almost got him KTFOd vs. Williamson.
Put a scared fighter in front of Lennox Lewis (which Golota was that night) and he gets his clock cleaned in 2 rounds. Put a scared fighter n front of a prime Mike Tyson, he doesn't make it out of the round.
But with Wlad they last 7 or 10 rounds in a boring fight. Why is that? Wlad doesn't have the confidence or trust in himself. So he does nothing. Golota freaks out too, but at least he hits you in the balls.
