Touch of Stiff is a journeyman. Joe Mesi had the courage to KO him and took him out in one round.

Wlad not only gets in a tough fight with him but gets knocked down cleanly in a competitive fight.

Joe Mesi is garbage and showed more assertiveness and willingness to win than Wlad. That's sad.

As for the Shufford fight, that's when I began to lose faith in wlad. The fight with McCline did it. Both of those guys were terrified of Wlad and instead of putting them out of their misery he played it safe and carried them.

That's what got him KTFOd vs. Brewster and what almost got him KTFOd vs. Williamson.

Put a scared fighter in front of Lennox Lewis (which Golota was that night) and he gets his clock cleaned in 2 rounds. Put a scared fighter n front of a prime Mike Tyson, he doesn't make it out of the round.

But with Wlad they last 7 or 10 rounds in a boring fight. Why is that? Wlad doesn't have the confidence or trust in himself. So he does nothing. Golota freaks out too, but at least he hits you in the balls.

Ok so I guess a journeyman now can be a top 15 heavyweight. Did you see the fight because I am pretty sure you are just calling it competative in order to get a rise out of me. You don't get outlanded 3 to 1 in a competative fight, and lose a round on every official scorecard in which you KD your opponent.

Everyone seems to know the difference between the way TOS fought Mesi and Wlad. Its a lot easier to KO someone who is willing to trade punches with you.

Wlad did anything but play it safe in the Brewster fight. Wlad v. Brewster was nothing like Wlad v. Shufford and McCline. When you throw 70 punches per round chances are you aren't playing it safe.

Actually Golota lasted 1 minute and 35 seconds against Lewis.

Yes Wlad and Golota both have a big problem with panicking in the ring, but if you watched Wlad v. TOS, you would have seen how Wlad delt with his panicking in the 4th round a lot better than he has done in the past. While he was panicking he constantly clinched with TOS until he calmed down.

Well Golota, got a better chin. (not hard too acomplish).
But no way in hell big bulky steroid golota is faster. Have you seen him fight?
          Wlad better power,faster,bigger.
          Golota chin, lowblows, better confidence.
          Skill eqeual.

I thought this discussion about Lewis vs Golota was answered awhile back. Golota was given a painkiller shot that night before the fight and he passed out twice because the Dr. shot him up in the in the wrong area. Golota was on cloud 15 when he entered the ring and then he settled a lawsuit outside the court with that Dr. Regardless, the Wlad of today stands no chance of defeating Golota. The Wlad that fought Ray Mercer, that is an entirely different story.

So Grant KDing Golota had nothing to do with him wanting to quit then?

That's like using Bobby Czyz to determine how good of a heavyweight Holyfield is. He looked like **** and as a result people said there's no way he could beat Tyson. right? WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRONG.
Did you even see this fight???
Holyfield beat the **** out of Czyz till the fight was stopped!!! I thought Holy looked great in this fight!!!

One thing about Golota is he does have a great chin!!! Sure he has been knocked down, but those were by some huge shots!!! The punches he took would have put most heavies to sleep!!! Did anyone see his fight with Tyson??? That shot he took in the first round was the same exact shot that put Botha in la la land, and he got right up!!! Golota almost didn't even go down from it!!! It even took Lewis who is one of the hardest punchers ever about 5 cosecutive straight rights to knock him down, and he got right up!!! Against grant was a different story!!! Golota barely got hit and was wobbled before a barrage of punches put him down!!! He looked as if he didn't want to be there and just quit!!!

Did anyone see the fight between him and that Samson Pao'uh??? He was hitting Golota with some of the hardest shots I have seen a heavyweight take, then Golota tied him up and bit him on the neck!!! When they showed the replay, Sean O'Grady said: Here's Golota going for the jugular!!! LOL!!!

When they asked Golota after the fight why he quit, he said that he felt with all the point deductions he got he didn't think the judges were going to give him the decision if it went that far. Listen, I am not making excuses for Golota's behavior in the past, he ****ed up his career by doing the ****** **** that he did in those fights. The topic is whether or not we think Golota would defeat Wlad if they fought and I believe he would because Wlad is a very fragile individual now. If he was afraid to fight inside against Williamson, he would be terrified of fighting inside against Golota because Golota punches alot harder than Davaryll.
