Golota: The best skilled heavyweight in boxing

If this guy had the mental strength of Vitali to go with his phsyical skills he'd be undisputed. He's got a good punch. A very good chin. He has hand speed and punches very very well in combination, something that 99% of heavyweights can't do. The number of heavyweights who can hook off a jab you can count on one hand, but unlike Wlad, Golota is fluid and relaxed. The second things don't go his way however he freezes up. The layoff for a couple years appears to have rejuvenated him the way it did Trinidad.

I always liked Golota. I was a big Rid**** Bowe fan, but he gained my respect after that first fight when he whipped Bowe's fat ass. I really hope he can rid the boxing world of John Ruiz. For that alone he deserves a medal. i don't care if he KOs Ruiz or breaks his neck in a headlock and gets DQd. As long as Ruiz is out of boxing it's good enough for me. By any means. Thug style!

Some fair points there, I wouldn't say his chin is that good though, and he has no heart whatsoever and is severly lacking in mental strength, he might have enough to get past Ruiz (jesus I hope he does), but that'l be his highlight

Is she serious? you want Golata to be DQ'd then Ruiz would still be champ!

This is why women shouldnt be boxing fans. Emotion before thinking

I don't mind if he loses to Ruiz as long as he permanently injures him. Break his arm, bite off his nose, something that keeps him out of the ring. I can live with that. I hate Ruiz. I'd rather something like that happen than Ruiz lose by decision. I want something traumatic to happen to keep Ruiz out of boxing for good. is that too much to ask?

His chin used to be good. it's been cracked a few times. But I think with Golota its more about his confidence. He folds under pressure. I dont know if he can ever change that about himself. I don't trust him. i'd never bet on him. But just skillwise, he's light years above most heavyweights. He mixes off speed punches, he knows how to take the power off and how to use the jab high and low and knows how to mix in straight with looping punches. Opponents have no idea where the punches are coming from. He's not a one-two then hug type of heavyweight like Ruiz or Rahman or Oquendo.
