Wlad can hook off the jab. But he doesn't punch in combination like Andrej. He doesn't mix body and head punches like him. Nor does he throw off speed punches like the Pole. Golota is far more fluid. Wlad is stiff as a board which is why he tires so quickly. He doesn't relax. Besides, Golota has 10 times better footwork to get off those punches. Skill wise it's no contest.
Byrd is the perfect test for ones boxing skills. We all know how well each of them did against Byrd.

Golota beat Byrd but got robbed.

To use a particular fight to judge how fighters do against each other is ******. Neither Wlad or Golota fights like Byrd. ****** comparison.

That's like using Bobby Czyz to determine how good of a heavyweight Holyfield is. He looked like **** and as a result people said there's no way he could beat Tyson. right? WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRONG.

Byrd was Golota's first real opponent in about 2 years or more and he arguably beat him. Apples and oranges.

You have a way of spinning out of the discussion. We aren't judging how fighters do against each other. We are judging who has better boxing skills. Wlad destroyed Byrd, Golota didn't. Arguably beating someone is not that same as pitching a shutout. Bobby Czyz is a horrible comparison to Byrd. Are you doing that on purpose or what? Czyz blows. How are you comparing him to the best defensive boxer out there today? And how are you comparing a Golota draw with Byrd to Holyfield TKOing Czyz in 5 rounds?

Byrd the best defensive boxer today? Please. that's all hype. He's got good defense for a heavyweight since most heavies just catch punches on their face.

Byrd was very easy for Golota and Oquendo to hit.

Wlad has more power than Golota. That's why he beat Byrd so badly. But power isn't a skill.

The Wlad back then was as skilled if not more skilled than Golota. The Wlad of today is not. He's terrified of being countered and is afraid to let his hands go

You miss my point. The Wlad vs. Byrd (a fight that I've seen) isn't not anywhere near the same Wlad vs. Williamson that we just saw.

Wlad has more courage puncing vs. Byrd who can't hurt him rather than someone like Williamson who can.

Williamson has half the skill of Golota and put china chin Wlad on the canvas.

Golota will put him 6 feet under

Wlad looked horrible against Shufford, who fought a complete defensive fight just like TOS did, and Shufford doesn't have TOS's power.

Grant has half the skill of Wlad and put china chin Golota on the canvas.

Wlad will put him 6 feet under or make him DQ himself.
