hattons win over kostya tszyu is bigger then any of mayweathers wins and thats a fact.
hatton is a small light welter (fram wise) and a very small welter and the fact that he moved up and still beat a world champion on a very bad night means hes a world class operator.
hattons never gonna be the 2nd coming of willie pep but he is 1 of if not the best preasure fighter in the world.
you cant like the sport of boxing and not like a fighter like ricky hatton it is impossible. i understand that some people like to watch masterclass performances from the leonards and the mayweathers of this world but its the same group of people who are tearing apart the standard of heavywieght boxing today because it lacks action. ricky is a whole action type fighter and the critisism (sp?) he gets on here is unreal

Yeah I really don't care for Hatton too much. I thought he was just physical enough to wear donw Tszyu and I was unimpressed with the Collazo fight. I do not believe he won that fight and he was in danger of getting knocked out late fi my memory serves me well.

You can't compare Corrales or Castillo to Kostya. It's a top-tier win for Hatton, and Floyd has nonesuch until likely this May. That's not to say Floyd isn't better, but if you want to talk about best wins, there's one point in Hatton's favor.

Hatton is an exciting fighter and entertainer, an engaging, respectful, and intelligent individual. Stop the hate. If it turns out he is second-rate, which remains to be seen, then so be it. But the hate is unnecessary.

3 rounds. That was the 3 rounds he took to destroy Sharmba Mitchell a whole lot more impressively than Floyd did. Kostya wasnt shot, it was a great win. Get over it.

Me personally, I dont care where anyone is from.. if they can fight they can fight... I just dont think Hatton is so great... not as good as everyone is making him out to be atleast
