I think he might. As boxing continues to diminish in popularity, expect exciting marquee names who didn't accomplish much historically to get in. I can see the reason for doing thing, except undeserved truly great fighters are left out.

I agree but just because it declines in popularity do u realy think it should lower its standerds

                NO

Yes we all know the HOF has low standards, but not THAT low.

I am totally against the IBHOF lowering it's standards but it has already. Ingemar Johansson already got in because he was a well known heavyweight with a big punch. He does not deserve to be there.

I think Gatti and Ward will both be there someday. Maybe even a guy like David Tua. Is Cooney there yet?

                      NOOOOOOO WAAAAAAAAY

And MICKY WARD was in an outstanding 3 consecutive FOTY's. For 3 straight years, he took place in the best of boxing.

His war with Emanuel Burton (Augustus) was one of the greatest fights i have ever seen to date. That was FOTY 2001

Then the famous fight with Arturo Gatti that skyrocketed both guys to fame. That won in 2002 i think

And then their 3rd fight, which unexpectedly turned out into another brawl. that was FOTY 2003.
