Team Hatton Speaks On Urango, and Floyd

After a prolonged absence from the boxing ring Ricky Hatton prepares to make history this weekend by continuing his impressive run at mayor titles when he challenges Juan Urango for Hatton’s old IBF crown. Perhaps Ricky is overcompensating for his WBU days yet in going for his fifth and sixth titles in fourth fights (the vacant IBO title is also on the line) Hatton is set to set aside a little piece of boxing history for himself and the UK. hatton's trainer needs to stay off the pipe, because he's talking as if ricky will squeeze by urango easily, and i think it will be a little more complicated than that. we'll see though. also, he never fails to talk about floyd. now, he's claiming that oscar will knock floyd out, and we all know it will be the other way around with oscar being knocked out or floyd floyd taking an unanimous decision but very decisively. floyd will punish oscar and after he's done with him, if ricky does beat urango, and floyd decides to take the fight, hatton is in for the beating of his lifetime, and not even the british prime miniter if there is one, will be able to get him out of there, watch and see,

I'm betting my house on Hatton to beat Mayweather, if that happens. It will be extremely close, though.

I've always felt Hatton could take Floyd.

        Well, ever since Castillo I..

All the Aussies in Kostya's forum were surprisingly honest about the possibilty The Hitman could be victorious over Mayweather.

Dare I say; it was unanimous.

That was some time back, and those fella's - the "Crew Fighters" are fairly biased about anything else..

But they were very receptive to this particular notion.

I've always said that if anyone can beat Floyd it's Ricky, Hatton will not give him time to jab and move like others do..he'll be smothering him and working him down with shots to the body

"I’m devastated to be honest with you. I watched the Baldomir fight in America and I said no way will Floyd fight De La Hoya, and then I come home and find out it is made. I wasn’t too worried because I thought he’d drag De La Hoya to welterweight where Oscar would be dead at the weight but at junior middle Oscar beats him."

Don't worry Oscar ain't beating Floyd. Floyd walks around at 150. If getting to 153 or higher doesn't slow him down much Oscar will lose. Mayweather is miles ahead of Mayorga in talent and skill. De La Hoya will not be landing clean if he does land well at all.

I agree, it'll be similar to the fight with Baldomir in terms of Floyds gameplan, but DLH should be able to cut the distance alot better than Baldomir and land some meaningful shots.

Yeah DLH will land more than Baldomir. Floyd will have to expand more energy than he did against Baldomir, and will not be able to just move out the way easily like he did against slow ass Carlos. I still think Floyd will manage a decision win.

If anyone wants to bet on some points let me know.

I love when fighters lose or not perform as expected. It'a always "that was'nt me in the ring"....like Hatton when Collazo whipped him.

Want to know what will happen when Hatton and Mayweather meet?...watch a tape of Gatti/Mayweather.
