    Pernell Whitaker

Is it true that after tyson lost to buster douglas, they gave pernell the #1 p4p status and he had it for 7 years till his loss to oscar. Damn, #1 pound for pound for 7 ****in years! Then Roy Jones was #1 pound for pound for 7 years too, they are amazing.

Yeah I used to be skeptical,

He's the most skilled fighter of all time. I don't really think anyone can argue with that either. The guy was just ****ing ridiculous.

chavez had it after tyson lost to douglas until september 1993 when he "drew" with whitaker.

whitaker had it until about 96/97, when he looked terrible against rivera the first time, then two fights later looked terrible against hurtado, and then lost a controversial ud to oscar.

so the draw with chavez is basically a win. I heard u cant lose ur P4p staus until u lose a fight. Yo can u hook me up with who was pound for pound from 1960s and on.

There really is no official list of who was p4p. Chavez had the #1 spot after the Tyson loss, but in my eyes it was always Pete, but he had alot of haters and people who didn't like his stykle thats why havez was regarded as #1

Roy Jones Jr= A piece of **** he went years without a serious fight.
