Again, he won't break the record until he dies with 50-0 or better. Many fighters have done better than 49-0 but then lost it during a comeback or just later on down the line. The record isn't obtaining a record of better than 49-0, but ending one's career with that record.

Why are we accusing valuev of padding his record? Its not like rocky fought guys with great talent. You know his competiton was very mediocre, dont pretend he has an ali or louis resume.Again, he won't break the record until he dies with 50-0 or better. Why are you quoting me when you make a post like that? Did you even read what you quoted? It has NOTHING to do with Marciano's level of competition, which was actually solid. Not the best, but not the worst.Comment

you always quote me ***. If valuev beats 5 b level HEAVYWEIGHT fighters, then him being 50-0 is legit.Comment

Yeah but when you quote someone, your post should at least be a response to theirs. Your post had nothing to do with the paragraph you quoted from me. nothing at all.Comment

Yeah we know he wants to beat Marciano's record.Nikolai Valuev (45-0, 33 KOs) has firmly set his sights on Rocky Marciano´s incredible record of 49 straight wins as he prepares to tackle Jameel McCline on Saturday. "I definitely want to break his record," the undefeated WBA champion vowed at today´s press conference in Basle. "If there´s the chance to get your name in the history books with such a great record, it is of course my aim to accomplish it. But that does not mean I will fight weak opponents." [details]
Thats why hes facing guys like Owen Beck, Monte Barret and Jameel McCline.Comment
