Wow... an article in the Bild. That's like the Enquirer here in the States.
Let's see if he can fight. I hope he can, although no rematch will happen soon.

    More importantly:

Arthur Abraham would be a fool to rematch Miranda. Take that cheesy win and run. Especially if that game is outside his home country.

I hope that the fight doesn't take place in florida because despite what the yanks might say, it's not neutral ground.

Listen, after what Miranda went through in Germany the fight should be in Barranquilla Colombia or San Juan Puerto Rico! That would somewhat level off what happened in Wetzlar Germany.

But, for me, I don't care where the fight is as long as it is in USA. Las Vegas would be perfect so all the crazy Glendale Armenians could make a showing. In the USA it would be handled properly and be as fair and neutral as boxing can be. A close fight may favor Miranda, but it may not since Abraham is the offical 'champion'. In Germany Miranda would have to kill the guy to win.

I was watching the replay, Abraham wobbled him with a straight to the stomach. Miranda grabbed the ropes several times to keep up. Backed off when he took a good solid shot to get his footing.

Watching the fight, Miranda in no way deserved to win. Those low blows, head butts. Just ridiculous. I would say Miranda has a good jaw cause he took a beating IMO. Abraham landed a lot of good clean crisp shots.

Abraham has my respect man, his jaw broken like that and still fighting the guy.

Please be specific. Miranda touched the ropes one time when he missed a punch thrown at Abraham and his momentum turned his against them. I don't recall him ever holding the ropes to keep up!

Just a small point - I'm not saying Abraham didn't get preferential treatment - but Germany is not his home country.

miranda had to hold himself up on two occasions if i remember correctly, one towards the end of round 5, and once towards the end of round 6. Punches caused him to lose balance on both occasions. I remember the incident you're talking about, miranda slipped an abraham punch and briefly held the rope because he moved too quickly and lost his balance.
