well to be fair...two days notice? I wouldnt expect much. Hes dumb for not taking his career seriously and taking so many fights on short notice. I never made him out to be a great fighter though. Just good and very good on a couple ocasions.

Yeah, Corrales was SHOT as hell too after getting his ass beat twice by Castillo. Augustus is a club fighter at best, and you probably secretly know it.

Corrales got his ass beat once by Castillo, and that was a one punch knockout. Not a 4 round beat down, although he had him badly hurt at one point.

And We dont even know that yet. He competed great against casamayor, i had him winning by a point because of the knockdown.

If he fights again at 147 as promised, and beats a solid top ten guy, then i think we can both agree that Neither Casamayor NOR Corrales is shot

corrales got BEAT UP the first fight which is probably worse then an early knockout. Not many fighters would be the same after that first fight...

Too funny. Augustus-haters always think people who defend his loss record mean he was robbed in every fight, which isnt true. He's been robbed and he's robbed himself. Tonight was another case of the latter, his shooting himself in the foot by taking a short notice fight again. He only has himself to blame for this one.

He had zero rhythm, gas, etc, and was sluggish from round one. If you tell me that he looked ready to fight, at his fastest, at his slickest, at his best, then you obviously havent seen many of his fights.

Its a ****ing shame but the guy has never learned to turn down a fight and that an opportunity means nothing in the long run if you end up with a loss.
