Can we end all this****** talk?

About the all-time great Emmanuel Augustus. Yeah he beats up a couple chumps on ESPN or FNF and all of a sudden he is 'robbed' in each and every one of his 37 fights. He just lost to someone he outweighed, a guy that fought as a career super lightweight, a guy coming off a loss in which he was beat up and stopped, a guy that really wasn't that good to begin with and his only claim to fame was his hanging around for a couple rounds with shot Casamayor.

Now all you dumb **** ESPN fans can shutup, you're boy got his ass kicked....ONCE AGAIN.

    Thank-You

In his prime Augustus was a great fighter. He gave helacious fights to anyone that stepped into the ring with him.

Even when he was stopped, he would put on a much better performance then what he just put on.

I personally think old age has caught up with him, and if he wants to keep on fighting these high caliber guys, he's gonna need a lot more time to prepare and rest.

At 32 years old, with over 60 professional fights, its undeniable that taking a fight on 2 days notice while just fighting a month ago, is a rediculous thing to expect any fight to do.

I like seeing the guy fight, he's a warrior and an exciting fighter and very skilled, but its a time in his career where he's got to settle down and be more selective with his fights, not just accept every fight thrown his way.

I aggree with some of what you said, and yeah 2 days notice is ridicules even though he just came off a fight a week ago. He is fighting like the old timers did, but Augustus tonight just looks burned out.

He's a good fighter, i wouldn't call him great but he can fight, no doubt. But hes at the end of the road.

I think Augustus accepts these fights on short notice because Augustus is a full time boxer, a full time boxer not at the level of a World Champion, neither in purse paid, so this is his liviing for him and so he takes any fight he can at any point in time, which is understandable, as he makes his money by fighting.

a shot casamayor.... that would go on to beat diego corrales... right...

And obviously after u get stopped, u take a long break, refresh urself, and train harder. Obviously Kid Diamond did that and he came back great. Thats a good fighter in there.

And i love how u think you know what ur talking about, and ur tryin to rub it in everyone elses faces. lol

Why dont u announce your favorite fighters, so the next time they lose we can rub it in ur face and call them a bum. please, please do.

and i love that last line. let me go ahead and quote u there bud.

Espn fans as in... sports fans? big boxing fans? what the hell do u mean by that?

ONCE AGAIN??? when did he ever get his ass beat that badly? ignoring the Mayweather fight... I mean, even when he was stopped he put up a better showing.

I think the only time u saw Augustus, was when he "lost" to Mickey Ward

Good fighter at best. Most overhyped guy in the game by far. I mean even Antonio Margarito doesn't have 40 losses on his record. Ok ok I know Augustus got robbed a time or two, but even Margarito doesn't have 20 losses on his record.

Yeah, Corrales was SHOT as hell too after getting his ass beat twice by Castillo. Augustus is a club fighter at best, and you probably secretly know it.
