    part of boxing is mentalitiy.

if you are not mentaility ready then you will getting a beating even before getting into the ring.

that is way Mayweather consider himself as the best and that is way many boxers are ****y because if maybe on negative though in them could lead to there loss.

Holyfield came there to win and he wanted to fight Tyson for long time and probably planed even on beating Tyson on his prime. as same with Mayweather and Shane Mosely with Oscar De La Hayo too.

I think for Mayweather for now its to judge

I remember after that fight people were hanging on Evander's every notion.

      Remember all that "God" talk?

I swear that was the one event in recent history that made many people believers in God and religion.

Evander gave all that increased credibilty.

There were people that were like: "Wow, there must reall be a God..."

I thought the same thing the first time I saw that fight. I was amazed with some of the shots Holyfield was taking. It's been awhile since I've seen the fight but at some point, I think Tyson hit him with an uppercut with full force and Holyfield was barely fazed. I'm sure Tyson was thinking, "Oh, ****" when that happened.

In Tyson's defence there was some head butting going on and he did hit his head pretty hard on the mat when he went down . But Holy won fair and square. When you have two agressive fighters who lead with their heads you will have some butts in the fight . The rf should have done a better job checking but I don't feel that anyone was at fault .

I hate it when people say tyson was out of his prime. He proly wasn't at his peak but he was still GAME and thats all that matters. He unified the wbc and wba belts before he fought holyfield and the guy was crushing his opponents prior to fight with holyfield.

It's not that he was so far past his prime or that he was bad at that point . It's more of a matter of HOW GOOD he was at his peek. Just think of how Tyson came straight out of prison overweight and still could beat all but 2 of the best heavyweights of all time . By the time of the Lewis fight he was far far far past his prime and still took a hell of a lot of punishment... says a lot about how good he really was .
