Pac was knocked down by barrera in the first round!!!!Let's hear some of the things you can say to defend your favorite fighter from the common lash he takes from the public? I'll start.
Manny Pacquiao - How can you hate the guy? He has an exciting style that is good for boxing and remains humble. I completely understand that you can hate his fans as they are beyond annoying at times and say the most outrageous stuff, though that's his fans, not him. There is no reason to hate a fighter because of his fans. He hasn't ducked or dodged anyone and although he's currently in promotional issues and hasn't picked yet an opponent in bold, you have to respect his decisions. He is in the drivers seat now and deserves it. If you were finally able to make your own decisions, you would also like it if people respected your choice after you've come so far. No matter who he fights next, it'll only setup something bigger down the line. As far as people saying he could overrated and his defense could be to blame as he does get hit a lot, his defense is without a doubt his offense. Manny never has in mind much to block punches as he figures it's always better to give than recieve

Evander Holyfield is the MAN, and lots of people talk **** about him now especially since he is still fighting., but the guy is a CRUSIERWEIGHT who beat Qawi then MOVED UP and beat Buster Douglas, George Foreman, Larry Holmes, Rid**** Bowe, Michael Moorer, Ray Mercer, Mike Tyson, John Ruiz, Hashim Rahman, Fres Oquendo and in my opinion beat Lewis in the rematch and survived 24 rounds with him. All of them were bigger than him and in every fight he laid it all out and traded with them. Half of those fights he was well past his prime, he also stepped in with Lewis, Toney, Byrd. Holyfield has fought every meaningful heavyweight of the past 15 years and beat most of them. He is a warrior and demands respect and if he wants to fight until he is 78 he has earned the right to do in that ring whatever the **** he wants to do.Comment
