Switch Calzaghe with Hatton, then we're good.

Calzaghe beat Bika and Lacy. Lacy was an overrated prospect and Bika is just a tough guy. He does nothing special and STILL managed to give Calzaghe a pretty tough fight.

Hatton stopped a future hall of famer in tszyu, stopped carlos maussa in 9 brutal rounds, and beat Luis Collazo who is definetly gonna be a threat in the welterweight division in a year or two.

please tell me why Calzaghe goes about Hatton? He didnt STOP Lacy or Bika. He won impressively, but a stoppage is much better...

the fact that Hatton has stopped 4 of his last five opponents is impressive enough... I personally dont want Calzaghe on my list. maybe at 12 or 11. He could be fighting much better names, but instead he fights guys like manfredo and Bika...

          I can't lie.

It bothers me that guy's like Manny P. and Jermain Taylor are on the list.

          They've earned it.

But ONLY because the are tremendous natural athletes.

Not because they are skilled fighters..

                Right.

That doesn't mean they're "pretty" doing it...

                To quote someone:

"Manny just piston-punches running in. That's all he does.."

                Taylor is ****ING ugly.

                Nuff said.

beat mosley 2x, controversally lost to a primed vargas, controversially drew to taylor, beat up on trinidad in one of the most lopsided fights i can remember (and sent him into retirement), and just recently beat up on and dropped twice, the world class IKE QUARTEY.

that alone makes him a HOFer IMO.

And thats ignoring the fact that he's one of the best defensive fighters of our generation, and the HUUUUUUUGE fact that he was effectively avoided by every big name for the majority of his prime...

and that this late in his career, he was able to effectively switch his style to a more exciting and offensive style?

Winky Wright has greatness written all over him

well manny is damn good at what he does. he isnt very dynamic i guess, but he's got power, hes hella strong, and hes GREAT at what he does.

taylor is very ugly, but if he wins then he wins. No denying that.
