I definetely predicted this fight wrong in 3 major areas:

    1. Sam Peter showed a lot of improvement, Technique better, conditioning better, Finally a legit heavyweight contender!
    2. As reported JT was in good shape if not still too heavy, Not! He may have been just slightly in better condition but he still gassed
    3. JT has still got it! It just looks like his legs are gone and his movement was awful, that to me was the big difference. How many times did Toney punch get out of position and not move before he was made to pay.

I won't concede that Toney isnt one of the best middle weight and up fighters of recent times

and I defintely aint tuckin my tail and runnin cause I wasnt right about something

Kid, you should consider yourself vindicated for being so far off on the first fight, but to start these I told you so threads, what are you like your 12?

    Next fight, please!
    Easy there Mr. Mom.

I read your pre fight statements....you're only calling for a halt because you in fact are one of the annoyed Toney fans.

Peter fought the smarter fight and did not fall for any of Toney's tricks. He dictated the pace of the action, kept Toney at bay when he wanted to, and then got on his toes and lashed out with quick punches that took Toney by surprise to change up his tempo. He didn't win with relentless pressure, he won because he made the right decisions and fought the perfect fight for the occasion.

It's funny that before this fight he was badmouthing me, sending threatening PMs, etc. and then, like a complete sissy, he dissapears after his fighter gets beaten.

Agreed 100%, Peter came with a strong game-plan & executed it perfectly(I'd say it was his best performance thus far), I don't think it was Toney looking bad as much as Peter making him look bad. You saw is coming Kid, gave you karma already for that, I just completely underestimated Peter, but as of last night I'm a fan of The Nigerian Nightmare.

Also, just cause I'm a huge Toney fan doesn't mean I don't see fight the way they are, & I am capable of saying I was wrong, which I was, & although Toney doesn't have HW power, I don't think anyone can question his HW chin.

It's not just the Toney fans that had it wrong, many Toney haters picked Toney to win, wasn't the polls like 75% for Toney.

I always tried to show respect for the people that were wrong!

Kid and all the haters Karma will bite you in the ass in the future, because I will remember this and you've seen nothing yet!
