And it's always convinient to claim Toney was robbed in every single one of his losses. The second fight with Griffin was close as hell....and giving the nod to Toney would have been acceptable. The first fight though, he was lethargic and didn't deserve to get the nod. Of course there are people like you that will give Toney rounds in fights that he flat out doesn't deserve.

That whole "Griffin took a dive" thing is ridiculous. First off what did he have to gain by taking a dive in a fight where he could have taken Roy's title? Let me get this straight....the same Griffin that went 9 rounds and won the LHW title by a disqualification is going to throw it away in the first round of his next defense? To this day, the idea that Toney loses one or more close fights and the result is a group of children just using the robbery card gets old. Toney is your idol, he's a wily, fat, version of the A-Typical class clown but let's leave it at that. He says funny things, he eats untill he's gorged, and he shows up to fights in sub par condition. He's the real character on the block and all around stand up guy.

iam not saying this because iam a toney fan but i had him winning both fights aganist griffen...their was a thread/poll a while ago about this ( maybe it was on another site) and james toney had the majority of votes.....anyway ill never put roy jones on my list of anything.......

For one, he was supposly takin steroids thru-out his entire carear up untill he came back from heavy-weight and got KTFO by both traver and glen johnson. ****ing cheater

Second, if you take roy jones speed away, he has no defense ( i say it in the same way hopkins said it) and thats the damn truth.

Third, the fact that he got KTFO badly ( i thought he was dead) by two B+ class boxers

First of all to be honest with you, I really don't have any idiols. It's no excuse, Toney was robbed in the griffen fights, if I want to make some excuse I will say that Toney won last night against Peter, which I'm not doing. I don't make excuses, I say what I feel and I don't try to be someone else, I could careless if anyone agrees with me or not.

I think Toney had a better career then Jones and Toney will be remembered more then Jones, only time will tell, I think in 20 yaers Toney will be loved like Duran, another man that was hated by many.
