It's for Hopkins, but it's not for the fans...

Hopkins could have gone out with respect after his incredible victory over Mason Dixon. If he goes through with this joke, I will lose alot of respect for him. Nobody cares about Roy Jones anymore. It's not about redemption for Hopkins, it's about the most money with the least amount of risk.

Money is probably a factor, thats why they call them prize fighters. But Im sure pride is a lot bigger of a factor and I actually think this could be good for boxing if both guys put on impressive performances. Hopkins in my mind should have a verygood chance of winnning this fight. at this stage in their careers he is the stronger fighter. I would love to see Roy get dropped quit boxing like he should have done years ago and step into Lampleys spot while he does 2-5 in the pen!

Yup I'm all for it. Why not?

Admit it or not these two fighters still commands a lot of followers and I'm sure almost all boxing fans are still interested to find out how it's going to turn out.

hopkins or roy have nothing to prove to you at all
no matter how bad roy has lost to others or droped from p4p
list no matter how good hopkins has been since he
still lsot to roy and now they are finally at the same weight
they have a chance to fight again

this isnt about proving anything to you or any other kid who
            wants best vs best
this is about proving to himself that he can beat roy jones
maybe he can maybe he cant but he will never know
            until he fights him again

its hard for a fighter to lose to someone and know they could of won...even tho the rematch is way way too late...i think it might as well happen if hop choses to come out of retirement...Bhop must think maskaev is gon lose soon, so think he's eyen more the light heavy division....if 3 fights...who..Jones jr, he wants Calzaghe, however, Calzaghe and Taylor should fight soon...wich comes first....anyhow..i know he would want revenge at Taylor again should Taylor move up in weight like most think he will
