I believe there is distinction between the Parkinsons that Ali and boxers get from brain damage and the genetic kind that Fox has? (syndrome vs disease) I could be wrong.

Very sad what's happening to him. He is a proud man but in boxing you have to be at top shape even if ur a trainer. Imagin if his park. Makes it so that he can't properly train a fighter, give good advice, or stop a fight when his man is takeing a beating.
Maybe he should step a side and let a younger man train his fighters.

It is sad, because Freddie Roach is the man, he's straight raw; one helluva tough fighter and IMO the second best trainer in the game behind the late great Manny Steward ...

They call it pugilistic Parkinson’s. I don't think they can prove it's from the boxing but I guess it's common sense,

He's got an 8 year boxing careera and he retired at an early age of 26. There is no scientific evidence that can pinpoint any correlation between his parkinsons disease and his boxing career. Any body here who thinks his condition is deteriorating can ask him for a 3 round sparring. LOL!

It's in your genes you either have it or you don't boxing just speeds up the effects. Someone like Meldrick Taylor who keeps fighting and taking a lot of damage can have the same symptoms but i'm not sure if it is the same thing . Really they still know very little about these kinds of diseases but you can take a guess on who suffers from the diseases/ parkinsons and who suffers the effects of the sport .

He kept going a lot longer than he should. There may be no scientific evidence to back it up, but are we going to split hairs? It's no coincidence that this condition has befallen many fighters. I hope that Freddie Roach was just experiencing a bad night. What a class trainer and a very strong individual. Anyone that can take a crack from Tyson in sparring, with or without Parkinson's, and anyone who can kick Toney's ass in the gym should get everyone's respect.

He was a tough sob when he was fighting. I've heard a few people mention him being very tough, and i seen a few highlights of his boxing career, straight forward brawler.
