agreed, he put on a great performance against briggs. Briggs only fought in spurts and Mercer would take big punches and control the rest of most of the rounds with his jab. That was a bad style matchup for briggs

first of all i cant believe this fight is happening, its a no win situation for rahman. Mercer looked pretty good against briggs, still tough with a great jab.
Im picking Mercer on this one, because mercer still has stamina and boxing skill. He looked pretty good for his age in his last fight. And i think he may have what it takes to beat rahman, which doesen't say too much except that Rahman is total **** compared the the rahman that ko'd lennox

I hope Rahman gets him out of there with bodyshots instead of head shots. Mercer needs to retire he had a good career, time to hang up the gloves, he's too battle worn and age has caught up to him.

as much as rahman sucks id like to point out a few things....

1. mercer hasnt fought in 18 months...
2. mercer is 45 or 46
3. he probably wasnt working out the whole time
4. rahman was recently the WBC champ and a FAVORITE to defend his belt

now you are picking a mercer knockout, wow, strictly from a gamblers perspective rahman will probably be 3.5 or 4 to 1 favorite and i expect him to win by knockout within the first 6 rounds
