If you read my posts about this issue, I have said many many times we need to wait and see. I have heard from a good source that Abraham's jaw is not healing well and he is not getting along with Sauerland. Obviously, Sauerland has publically said Arthur is doing great and will be back in the ring to fight by April.

Two different stories. We will soon know what is what. WAIT AND SEE!

Now... about talking ****. You never answered my question from another thread. Do you hate Miranda because some black Colombian kicked your ass and slept with your girlfriend??? LMFAO!!!!

So that's what he has done. Now you tell me another middleweight (other than Winky) that has proven more....
      Taylor didnt duck Eastman.
We have no idea whether or not Abrahams career has been destroyedd or not.
He could have fought a live opponent. aka not willie gibbs.
Obviously I think Taylor should fight Winky, but if not him than Calzaghe, and if not him, Abraham, who techniclly won the fight.
I would like to see a rematch between Miranda and Abraham.
Like I said, his accomplishments have done nothing to warrant a title shot, and your argument that he should get a shot "beucase theres no one else out there" furthers that fact.

Taylor says he WANTS to fight the best that is out there. You mentioned 3 names names that you feel are more worthy than Miranda.
Winky is not happening, Calzaghe besides not being a middleweight is not happening. And Abraham is far ready to fight, plus HBO has not interest in him even if he was able.

So who else you gonna come up with? So far we still have Edison Miranda as the most worthy opponent to face Taylor next (considering Taylor keeps saying he wants to fight the best available!)

Miranda-Taylor is personally the best middleweight fight of the year for me- should it happen. Reason being I feel that Jermain has something to prove and Miranda is a solid opponent to do it against. I want Taylor tested and I feel that Edison is the boy to do it.

We dont know if the Winky or Joe fights are happening yet.
Stop making things up to prove your point, it doesnt work.
Joe's camp is constantly in talks with Taylors camp trying to work out a fight and the rematch with Winky is expected to happen, but there is not difinitive answer if the fight is or is not happening.

How does Taylor have something to prove??
Two wins over Hopkins and a draw with Winky have proved he is world class, and a victory over Miranda would do nothing to help that reputation whatsoever.

How does he have something to prove? As long as there are legitimate questions about him- and we're aren't just "hating" then he most definetly has something to prove. He squeaked by an older Hopkins twice. He's known for his size and strength and got two close wins to an aging champion. Not the domination of a young, strong, amazing middleweight. Next he draws in a fight that Winky Wright lost by not taking the last round. Based on the card the fight was Wright's to win- Jermain had no shot to win, only draw, so Winky should have manned up and taken the round rather than trying to cruise.

Many of us see abundant flaws in Jermain Taylor. We see rough edges and no clear, dominating victories except over a tiny, outmanned Kasim Ouma who still held his ground. A win over Edison Miranda would show he can fight someone who has the power to hurt him and still come out on top. Who was going to KO Taylor? Hopkins? Not with his style, at that weight, with his age. Not Wright. Ouma? Get the hell out of here.

I think Taylor needs to step up and face a man who is young and presents a dangerous physical threat. The verdict is still out on Taylor. Just a dissenting opinion from yours.

I understand the questions about him, but my point is, fighting and beating Miranda will not answer any of those questions. Miranda has not proven to be anything close to an A class opponent yet, and looks to be a power puncher with a questionable chin, poor technique and poor defense.

While I also see your point...Abraham is decent in my eyes and he held his own. I just feel like Taylor needs to take a fight against a big puncher. If Jermain outclasses him and makes him look silly- good. That's fine. I'd rather see Taylor against the hard punching Miranda, all his flaws aside, than any of the Contender fighters as was once thrown around. I think it'd be interesting to see how Taylor responds to not being able to outphysical an opponent like he could against Hopkins, Wright and Ouma.

                      Exactly.
Abraham is decent and Miranda still lost to him.
THe only reason Miranda is being considered is because theres no one else out there.
