From what I heard, HBO would consider Miranda vs Taylor now if Taylor would do it. But they would rather have each fight 1-2 more times and build it up more.

Since Dibella has made it clear he wants no part of Edison, HBO is wanting Miranda vs Pavlik as their first choice (as a WBC eliminator to fight Taylor). I don't think Pavlik's people will take the fight (he didnt take it last year). They have babied him so far, this would be too much of a step up.

There are a couple of other people I have heard being mentioned, but Alan Green seems to be the next option. He wants the fight so I think it is a good possibility.

Alan Green is no bigger than Miranda and can make 160lbs.
He has already come out and said he wants the fight at 160lbs.
I think it is the most realistic option at this point. By the 2nd week in January something should be announcent.
