That's a cop out though. He's a champion & the only way to get recognition & respect is to face the named/tough fighters. Not showcase or gimme fights. He'd make a good name for himself by taking on better opposition. Instead of running back down to 140 he should've stayed at 147 & allowed himself to get accustomed to the weight. They're bigger fights & 147 & the named opponents are currently in the division.

Hatton has already shown that he is looking to do nothing more than cash out and is afraid of the big fights. It took him 40 fights against flat out bums to grow the balls to finally face a real fighter in Tsyzu. Hatton is a joke...

I agree, Hatton should be fighting someone bigger than Urango...but after almost getting spanked by a mostly unknown Collazo I feel he wants a tune-up before a bigger fight so he can get his confidence back.

u need to do some research on ricky hatton
he wanted kostya tszyu back in 2002 and even went as far to say he has the style to beat him fast forward to december 2004 ricky hatton wins a final eliminator to fight for the ibf title and the champion still was kostya tszyu.
you need to shut the **** up on things you no **** all about
and also castillo needed a warmup at 140 because he didnt wanna make the same mistake hatton made at 147.

How does that change the fact that Hatton fought bums for 8 years, 40 fights, before stepping up to Tsyzu? Ricky Hatton is all talk...

Mayweather stepped up to 135 and had a close, tough fight with Castillo. You remember that? Did he run back to 130 like a little ***** and fight some prospect with 18 fights? No, he rematched Castillo immediately and proved all the doubters wrong. Hatton likes to talk all this **** about Mayweather, but he needs to stop acting like such a ***** and man up...

I think many of you are underrating Urango.

if you see the guy he is made of muscle he looks bigger and he hit harder.

they say styles make fight Urango style is a slugger and Hatton is a slugger so you have a slug fest i think Urango will KO Hatton look at the guys body. as his gift from Ben Rabah ben Rabah is a boxer and he moves around the ring and good footwork. but in that fight Urango was schooled but wasnt stunt.

Hatton it seems isnt allowed to face people like Urango who are in their prime, but PBF is allowed to box people like Gatti, and then people kiss his ass.
I'll give credit for PBF in the way he beat Baldy though. Baldy was better than Gatti by some way. I'll even kiss PBFs ass if he beats Hatton and Cotto. I wont kiss his ass by beating DLH though. Noone kissed Joe Calzaghes ass for beating Eubank because Eubank was supposedly past it at 32 years old.
