Urango's strong & can punch, but it should be be remembered that he got a gift win for the title against Naoufel Ben Rabbah, in one of the worst decisions in recent memory.
(Florida coming through to prove that it isn't only politics that they're corrupt on).

However, Ben Rabbah is a tricky boxer whom Urango had no idea how to deal with, so shouldn't be much a factor in this one.

Old fashioned slugfest hopefully, with Hatton's pressure probably wearing him down, although there's a chance Urango could land big, as he has some serious power.

dont care about this fightm, urango the worst beltholder in the division, 2 gift decisions already and only 17 fights and should have 2 losses, and his power is overrated

I just want Ricky to look impressive with a good win, and Castillo to look impressive as well. That should set up a mouthwatering fight between the two of them.

Then I want Hatton to unify. To be honest, Hatton doesn't even need to fight in the US to unify as the WBC belt is held by Witter and the WBA belt is held by M'Baye who fights in the UK nowadays.

Then after that maybe Hatton can fight Cotto? Cotto is a real talent and may be too big for Hatton to be honest. But it would be good to find out for sure.

Maybe in their next few fights Hatton and Cotto could both clean up their divisions and set up a genuine super fight?

Check the download section; I imagine someone on the boards has some Urango fights. He's been on ShoBox a few times and was on the Shannon Briggs-Ray Mercer PPV undercard. It was luck that I saw the fight vs. Ubaldo Hernandez on MSG Network the other day...

Why does he need to stay clear of Cotto? Hatton could beat Cotto (I'd make Cotto favourite probably). Even if Hatton lost he'd have lost against a great fighter and that is no disgrace. Its fights against the best that define a boxer's career.

I dont really know how good Cotto is. I jus hear people saying PBF has to fight him. So by that i would imagine people think he is quite good. I am sure he must be better than Baldimor. How about Cotto v Hatton and whoever wins PBF has to fight to make it easier on PBF.
We dont want the pretty boy to burn himself out fighting both of them. That might be asking too much of a man who wants a easier life, and might scare him into retirement.

Great post, you have to take the big challenges for your legacy, and even if Hatton unified after Urango, there's no superstars at 140. Castillo is a big name, but he's not Cotto or Mayweather. He has to try and win a fight that will make people say 'Wow, what a fighter.' I don't know if the Tszyu fight did that, and even if it did for some, you need more than one of those to be a legend.
