Why is Collins even on that list it?
Most likely to beat Roy Jones Jr?

I agree that Collins and Michalczewski would of been systematically dominated, and I agree that Benn, Jackson and Liles would of been reduced to a punchers chance. Nunn and Liles were tall southpaws, never easy. Calzaghe, too square-on, would of been taken out.
McClellan, very much an unknown quantity!
Nunn at his very best had the best chance of out-pointing Jones convincingly, because he was not only a tall southpaw but had handspeed on par with Jones while smoother than Jones could dream.
Mr Livingstone Eubank, probably would of only won the first four rounds against Jones, ultimately Jones would out-work him (but would be made to look bad by Eubank).Last edited by GEOFFHAYES; 12-25-2006, 08:46 PM.Comment

I think spinks is better than roy, i mean he beat the real heavyweight champ, not a phony like john ruiz. The fact that he could hang twice for 30 rounds with holmes is ****in amazing. Not to mention that he was 175 champion when the division was rich with talent.Comment

Roy could have beaten Holmes as well, without getting tagged as much as Spinks did. Jones was beautiful at 200 lbs, and smarter and more accurate than Spinks. Spinks could not win clearly.Comment

Gerald McClellan or Julian Jackson. Only if they caught him. The rest would of got destroyed. Calzaghe? Collins? Come on. It's foolish to even consider themComment

No one on the list is as fast or accurate as Roy, and he would outbox everyone on the list.
Best chance would be for someone to land a sucession of big punches, because a prime Roy had a solid chin.
Julian Jackson has great power, but would be brutally outboxed.
Benn as well.
I suppose Gerald, because he was a decent boxer with bricks in his gloves.Comment
