I like to see MAB vs JMM. I want to see JMM face a top caliber fighter besides Pac and there are also a few members and fans(from other sites) that JMM is technicallly better than MAB, so i want to see how well JMM does.

If there is a rematch, i want to see Pac vs JMM. This fight is unfinish.

But Barrera NEEDED that win if he wanted to get pacquioa or marquez in the ring with him.

And we all know, Barrera boxes when he NEEDS a win, And brawls when he WANTS a win.

It depends on how Barreras management team, and barrera himself, look at this fight.

        1) DO they say, "Win or Lose against Marquez, we can still weazel a Pacquioa deal if thats what the fans want." Cause the only way to get the fans to want that fight, is to beat Marquez in a brawl.

        2) But if they say, "We gotta win to get PACQUIOA, if we lose we're done." then they wont brawl, they'll box.

I think they will go with 1, surprisingly. because why else take the Marquez fight? There is no need for it if they REALLY want PACMAN. unless they think Marquez has a bigger chance at getting the fight... which is unlikely because PACMAN and BARRERA both want to fight eachother...
only a Barrera fan would make such a ridiculous suggestion. It's 2007. Barrera has been calling Pacquiao out off and off for over 3 years. Give me a break. If he wanted Pacquiao, he'd sit out and wait for him. Barrera does not and has not ever wanted this fight and has been content with calling it a "bad night" all his life.

well obviously if the hypocrite can't even make weight then yeah, I would hope he eats big. don't try to offend me by attacking Corrales, who I have no sympathy for after his lastest debacle.

Why would he be on that list when there is probably going to be an order blocking any fight from happening until the lawsuits get settled?

Also, do you really think after all this that Arum and De La Hoya can actually sit at a table to hammer out a deal for Pacquiao? Never happen, not even on Christmas.

But Barrera has been calling it a bad night for so long and not doing anything to prove to the contrary, that he's always going to be labelled a coward until he gets in there with Pacquiao. Even if it's not his fault this time, it definitely has been for the past 3 years, so it's his fault by default and if the fight never happens or gets derailed by Barrera losing, then he will go down as having run from this guy. That's just the way it is.

If Barrera had just shut his trap and admitted that Pacquiao is superior, then fine, they don't have to rematch. But he's been making excuses for over 3 years and hasn't stepped back in with Pacquiao yet. Morales opened his trap, said Pacquiao's punches didn't hurt him in the 2nd fight, got in there a 3rd time and got rolled. But he gets more respect because he at least got in there to back up his words. Barrera does nothing but make excuses.

Not a bad thing, really. Barrera never fought Marquez and if those two fight, there's two possible anticipated rematches for Pacquiao.

I can feel the tension in the air....I'll take it.

Even if Barrera loses, it makes the Pacquiao-Marquez rematch huge. And if Marquez loses, it makes Pacquiao-Barrera even bigger.

Sometimes **** just happens, even Corrales giving Casamayor a promised rematch did not happen for over 2 1/2 years. Sometimes there is money to be made fighting other guys, but right now he only has Marquez and Pacquiao.

If the Pacquiao fight can't be made then this is a good un. Personally I'd much rather see Pac fight Edwin Valero anyway. Why does the little man from the Phillipines keep havin to fight Mexicans he's already beat?! The fight would be better anyway with Barrera and Pac both coming off great wins over JMM and Valero anyway. Having said that, neither man is guaranteed to win either fight. I would pick against both, I would say.
