Tarver hit Stallone with 10 ounce gloves and didn't break his jaw, slice his face open, knock teeth (of a sixty year old man) out? Didn't break his nose? Please.
Tarver was not hitting Stallone full force every blow, but obviously his hands are flying fast and an accident happened, hurting Stallone. It's not that big of a deal to believe that really.

My lord, for a dude that tells others to relax Scully, you take the cake!!!

It's a friggin' movie man, tell me how many flicks are EXACT duplicates of real life events!!! Especially when dealing with sports movies (not to mention boxing movies)!

You can cry and moan about all the friggin' plot holes you want, BUT there are plot holes in EVERY movie EVER made, point is, you don't like the movie, Well then STFU and see a different flick then and leave the people that actually enjoy the Rocky movies (especially this latest one ) the **** alone you annoying ponce!

What a great mind you must have btw Scully, pointing out all the plot holes in such a mind bending series like Rocky, thanks for helping us scholars out you ******!

In closing, if you don't enjoy the latest flick in the Rocky series, then fine, but trying to sound off by proving existing plot holes in a movie series such as Rocky, and TRYING to sound like a bloody genius in the process is ****ing hilarious!!!!!!!

You like Rocky, then watch the lastest installment, you hate rocky, then don't watch the latest, or at least stfu while those of us that enjoy Rocky watch the ending of the series without idiots and their crap!

If Hollywood thinks anybody with a boxing background is going to believe for even one second that 60 year old Sylvester Stallone could take a real punch from Antonio Tarver without getting knocked OUT, buster up badly etc etc etc, than they are even caught up in the world of make believe that I ever thought possible. Now, the two biggest flaws of the movie (and otherwise I thought it was pretty good) are these. 1st.... In his prime Rocky's face, even in winning, was beaten to a pulp by Creed, Lang and Drago. Now at 60 years old he goes distance with the reigning world champ, a guy 33-0 with 30 KO's, and all he gets is a bloody nose and lip and a cut around the eye??? Annnnnnnnnnnt! And 2nd.... in this movie they refer to George Foreman winning the title at an advanced age over Moorer and they reference Muhammad Ali by face and name.... Well, where was Ali in the world of 1975 and the original ROCKY? Creed WAS Ali.....even boasting in the original about being "the greatest of all time!!" Where was Foreman in all this? In 1975 Creed was 48-0, the unbeaten world champ, so he must have been champ for a while seeing as how famous and legendary they made him out to be in that movie. If that's true then why was Joe Frazier, introduced in the first film, as big and famous of a fighter as they made him out to be? Where was Ali and Foreman in that world? Foreman came back to fight Moorer in the latest movie..... but when was he the champ in that world? They made a HUGE goof IMO of mentioning Foreman and they never should have made Ali out to be a real person. That messed it up bad to me.
didnt sly base the first movie on the ali wepner fight?

I think Creed comes after Ali in this story . From the way it works out I see it as Ali Vs Foreman never happend instead Creed beats Foreman who they re-name . Or Creed comes after Ali and takes Holmes place in history . The Rocky Legends game gives info on this sort of thing but I don't remember how it all works out .I've also heard that he is really based on Ken Norton and not Ali at all .

I watched the movie yesterday. While the movie is not that good compared to the past Rocky movies, the movie was descent.
