    Pacman and weight training

Does Pacman do any weight training?
He seems to have developed his muscles over the years but yet his hand speed is very fast.

I think he is saying that he has a lot of muscles and seemingly should have slowed down some by now.

Of course you can develop speed, if you start boxing at 300 lb's and cut down to 200 you're definately going to be faster.. but the kind of speed that Roy Jones Jr and Ray Leonard etc were gifted with is unteachable.

Look I run track and its not something you can teach someone. You can impart to them technique that will help lower time but you can't teach anyone to run 10.3 100.

yes this is what I meant by the question as usually when you see a fighter making gains in muscle development their speed decreases
Also before the second Morales fight i read many article of Erik Morales doing weight training but nothing about the Pacman and i haven't never seen any footage of Manny doing weights
Maybe he doesn't do weights but its hard to believe with his muscle development.

based on the vids i seen of Pac preparing for his fights, i think he only does pilates and calastetics exercises. i never seen him weight train

That's ridiculous, off course you can build up your speed and so can power and it doesn't need to be boxing, with proper training you can do it as well as in track.
