Why does everyone assume you have to be bribed to take a dive? Perhaps he just gave up and realized that a liver punch is the most "excusable" of all KO's. The punch looked weak to me and Oscar had PANIC in his eyes in the previous two corner breaks. You may also notice that Bernard really started to quietly goad him verbally and this may have caused Delahoya to start looking for a "HOLLYWOOD" way out.....

If he took a dive because he was convinced he had no way to win, that made him all the more a beaten man. If, yes, IF that is how it went, whoever would talk about THE De la Hoya HEART cannot be more than a dunce.
