Yes but Gatti's punch was alot harder and more believable than Hopkins' punch.

Gatti is known as a Puncher, with one punch KO power. Hopkins has never been known for that kind of power. The Punch that landed was soft. Oscar got scared, and found a way out.

I have to agree with that. I just saw the fight.. and that punch was ok at best. There wasnt even full leverage on it like gatti against dorin.

Either Oscar quit or he was in horrible shape.

          As an Example

Edwin Rosario was hit in the same spot as de La Hoya repeated amount of times by JC Chavez with full leverage and he didnt go down.

You people never cease to amaze me. The man hit Oscar with a lunging left hook he didn't see. Look at the clip I posted and you can clearly hear Oscar immediately grunt from the punch. Look at the replay from the clip and you can see that Oscar reacted instantly when he moved his arm down to where he got hit leaving him open for another little left hook to the head.

And the **** wasn't blocked at all, it was clean as hell.

We are the only 2 people who know what were talking about on this thread, everybody is either blind or haven't seen the punch.

How can you call that a clean shot?
In the slow motion replay you can see that his hand was blocked a bit.
It looked like the top part of his glove tapped DLH's body.
Like he was going for a normal body shot but didn't get it all the way.
There was a delay then DLH went down and started making all these gestures.

I think the ending was ****.

Seriously, shut the **** up with the constant "you're blind/they're blind/he must be blind" ****.
If anyone is blind it's got to be a Byrd fan with his tongue up Byrd's ass and can't go a day without praising the ****ty "boxer".

I think all that masturbating to Byrd's pictures has left you with vision problems.
You're supposed to aim the semen away from your face.

His glove clearly went past DLH's elbow and cleanly landed on his liver. I don't know what to tell you.. it wasn't blocked at all.

Did you not hear the grunt? Or did Oscar fake that too? Did you not see Oscar's arm IMMEDIATELY move down to protect the area Bernard hit? Or was that some quick acting by DLH?

BTW, Hopkins hurt Allen in their last fight with an identical punch. If you have a copy available, I'll tell you the exact time and round
