Austin at the time was considered the best in his division, and a dangerous Champion. I think he was close to being in the pound 4 pound but there was nobody there for him at the time to fight and King didn't really push Austin on the public. I don't think anybody should sell Austin short because he was KO'd by Marquez. And Mabuza gave Marquez some trouble and was a top contender who may be Champion once Marquez moves up. Marquez has fought some very good competition. I don't think anybody at first gave him a chance against Mark Johnson and we know what he did to him.

Timmy was the ****! Lost focus for a split second and ****, lights out! I wonder what ever happened to that guy, he was very good.

He was a very good fighter. King at the time was busy with Trinidad and had Austin as a resurve. But he was a good fighter with power. I don't like when fighters are sold short. I dont' know if he's still fighting, i haven't heard anything about him in a good while. He was Champion for a few years, im sure he made some good money but never had the big fight, that im aware of. I think he was in his 30's so maybe he retired i don't know.

I think Marquez has two times better skills then Vasquez. Vasquez is good but he don't have the boxing skills Marquez has. But Vasquez is a proven warrior as is Marquez. But Marquez is the better sound boxer. I've seen Vasquez fight to his opponets level and Marquez can drown him in a boxing match. This will be a great fight.

Marquez is a much better boxer than Vasquez, I agree with that.

However, Marquez isn't a slick boxer. He can be hit. And Israel has THAT kind of punch. I'm just not sure that Rafa can take Vasquez's power.
