We all have personal taste. I find wearing chains, having platinum teeth, etc. etc. to be tacky and kind of annoying looking. I think flashing your money in other people's faces is in bad taste, especially if you claim to be from the street. I don't understand why someone who grew up in a ****** would want to rub it in that they made it and their neighbors didn't.

Because if you knew anything about the street or the ******, you know most people dont have bank accounts, most people dont have the guidance or the sense in some cases to invest, thus leading people to get things like chains/teeth as a way of celebrating their money in some cases. Its been going on well over 100 years nearly as far as gold teeth go, jack johnson had gold teeth.
In many ways nowadays its simply a fashion thing and basically it always has been. So your saying people in the ****** shouldnt adhere to what they feel is fashionable?

Replace white fighter with italian fighter and you may be on to something. A british or irish white fighter behaving like that is going to be just as bad as Mayweather or Judah for me.

BTW, Malinaggi never blatantly fouls like Judah, has no history (whether proved or not) of beating women or even getting into publicized streetfights and being proud of it, pushing drugs like James Toney, or any of that. You can't compare him to these guys in terms of personal conduct because he didn't do these things. His personal record is pretty squeaky clean from what I know. The comparison is that he tries to act street tough and is arrogant, not that he has a similar history as these guys.

I think you are taking my post the wrong way and making a huge deal out of one small point I made in that I like italian fighters. Malignaggi is arrogant and annoying, and I'm not a fan. I used him as an example of a fighter who wasn't black but who is arrogant and tries to act "street" and why I don't like him that much, even if he's italian.

Referring to your post from ESPN. I think it is ridiculous for spmeone to say that Margarito is ducking Williams, if he takes on Cotto which is a much tougher fight and Cotto is more proven than Williams. I think fro him to step up in competition and to say he is ducking Williams is ******. Why would he fight Williams if he could get a fight with Cotto. Cotto is a tougher test,they are both champions and he will make more money, he would be ****** to take Williams instaed of Cotto. I could see if he was not taking the fight and fighting lesser opposition, but that isn't the case.

Maybe it would benefit me to have a more advanced knowledge of the culture and etiquette of American inner cities, but that doesn't change the fact that I have an opinion about how the way they act irritates me.
