Okay, if Paul Maliganni were a completely ordinary fighter, not exciting or proven at the top level anything, I would pull for him over a non italian fighter who matches the same description.

Likewise, yes I am going to like Malinaggi who behaves in an arrogant fashion over a non italian guy who acts the same way.

BTW I'm not a Malinaggi fan at all. I'd love to see say Antonio Margarito kick his ass. If Mayweather whupped his ass I would not care one bit. But because he's italian I have some interest in his career, it's just the way it is.

You missed the point of my post which is to say that the arrogant rapper style is so annoying to me that it causes me to not even like a guy like Malignaggi, a fellow italian, who behaves like that. If Malignaggi were modest and italian I'd be all in his bandwagon, but he's annoying so I'm not.

Again, that is not racist. His being italian just makes him more interesting to me and more likely to catch one of his fights. I'm not gonna root for him over say Margarito or any other fighter I'm truly a fan of.

Zab Judah, Floyd Mayweather, James Toney, Shannon Briggs. The attitude these guys put on just rubs me the wrong way. It's the same way with rap, I enjoy listening to the music, enjoy the beats, but I can't stand the image and lifestyle.

Some of my favorite fighters, Sam Peter, Edison Miranda, Lamon Brewster, Danny Williams, etc are black but I just can't go for the thug thing. It's against almost everything I stand for to be so flashy and materialistic and to condone casual violence with guns.

This does not make me a racist. I just don't like that lifestlye/image.

Look man, i dont beleive everything i hear but to me if sum1 pleads guilty 2sumthing, they did it.
