The whole thread has degenerated into something I never wanted it to, and I apologize. I should have been more careful because race is such a sensitive issue and bringing up Hitler of course was not the brightest idea considering how eager to attack before reading some of the posters here are.

Americanspirit, I apologize. We've talked it out in PMs and its clear that it was a downright freakish and unfortunate case of mistaken identity. I agree here. The German people were not ****** or evil. And they never will be. The people of Germany were the primary victims in an elaborate plot to profit from major war. The killing of anyone was disgusting. But the people who were funding Hitler had no concern for human life.

Just curious, how do you figure? The Great Depression hurt Germany worse than the U.S. They already were ****ed over from WWI and had to pay war reparations. Their government tried to deal with it by just printing money which created an insane amount of inflation. They say an entire wheelbarrow of money couldn't by some bread.

And, to get back on topic, I see where Kid is coming from. Thugs annoy me, not just in boxing but everywhere. I would say that the wannabes are much worse than someone who is an actual thug, that **** pisses me off more. That doesn't translate into racism though.

Im from Western Ukraine and the ****s tortured and killed as much of my countrymen as did the Russians, and I have nothing to admire in Hilter. But the fact is that he was one of the most powerfull leaders in modern history. He converted Germany from a desperate starving **** hole to a Superpower that could very well have won the war.

Whilst he was an inhumane ****, there is no dispute that he was a powerfull figure that had the power to manipulate a number of people and bring a starving country to a worldpower status in 10 years. If you cant respect that in him then you are just a hippy ******.
