Floyd is slick, and my heart will be with him when he plays roullete with Oscars left hook. I hope Floyd doesn't get hurt, honestly.

I hope you realize it will only take one. Just one.
hagler would ruin floyd's pretty face. there's NO ****ING WAY floyd ever beats hagler, no ****ing way, even on steroids

I agree with the weight disparity you refer to. I concede.

Both men same weight: Ray is better.

Floyd is a genuis. But Margarito is no Hearns. And Floyd embarrasingly avoided Margarito.

Ray fought lanky hearns, and compact basher Hagler. Win, win.

      Floyd: lose, lose.

Floyd is crazy and DISRESPECTFUL to state Leonard's lack of impact in any era.

      I mean, come on..
He avoided margarito because Margarito is not worthy to be mentioned in the same sentence as him, let alone be in a ring with him. margarito is a joke, and a stay active type fight for Floyd. He is no real threat or competition. I agree with Leonard dominating his era and having impact on boxing and be a legend an all that, but I don't think he beat Hagler. he only fought or exchanged the last few seconds of every round. He basically stole the fight and Hagler was ****** for allowing Leonard to dictate the ring size and for fighting SRL fight. Also SRL didn't fight Hagler right away, he waited until he got older and was more vulernable, then he fought him so that is little suspect too. Skill for skill, I think Floyd is better. SRL just had a bigger punch which bailed him out a lot. No way herans would have hit Floyd as much as he was hitting SRL, and Leonard would have lost that fight if Hearns had some kind of chin.

I am by no means promoting Floyds comments about past all time greats.
However, I dont think the Margirito Hearns comparison is valid either.
One, Margirito isnt within light years of Thomas Hearns in terms of any aspect of boxing.
Two, just becuase Floyd didnt fight Tony doesnt mean Tony is better. The fight would be an extremly one sided decision in Floyds favor.

Leonard fighting at middleweight is equivalent to Floyd fighting at 140 (third division for each fighter). At 140, Floyd would be favored against anyone in that division at the time he was there. There's a reason Hatton keeps ducking him...

Floyd fighting at middleweight is equivalent to Leonard at Light HW...

Ray shook his head and said what I was thinking:

"..he (Floyd) doesn't know what he's talking about.."

I have to agree. Floyd is tremendous, but Ray would have knocked him out himself. Hagler would have done it faster, and Hearns would have done it undoubtedly. Duran would have given Mayweather nightmares.

Anyone confused about that besides Floyd?..
Leonard just informed me that you're lying!
