I'd love for you to name some guys that will be remembered in 30 years that he hasn't tried fighting. Earlier you named Cotto, who Bob Arum said he wouldn't put in the ring with Mayweather. Hatton, who said he'd fight Floyd..... in a few years. and Mosley who has avoided the fight like the plague. So go ahead and throw someone else out there.

I think that everyone is getting the sport of boxing confused with full contact sport. Boxing is a sport of skills. Defense and offense. To be offensive and defensive when, not only when it counts, but more importantly to do it when you have to and be successful at it. Kinda like Ali.
Did everyone not forget where Floyd began his career at? What weight class that is, for those who can't comprehend. I have been watching the sport of boxing for about 25 years now. You know, Leornard, Benitez, Pryor, Arguello, Hagler, Hearns, etc.
It is not Mayweather's fault that he started his career out at such a low weight, that is just nature. If anyone knows the biological make up of a man, you don't start really putting on weight until about thirty. He is right on schedule. He is being asked to jump up 30 lbs. That isn't even heard of in any sport, followed by success. One thing about it is that Floyd didn't just win fights against better opponents, like Oscar(Although he has got his ass kicked, Trinidad(He's had his hat brought to him too), Shane, Winky, and all those no name unskilled boxers. Don't make me start naming them. Unlike all these guys Floyd has won all his fights, for the exception of one other thing, he has almost destroyed every opponent that he has confronted. You don't believe, watch his fights.
Enough of the Floyd bashing and just enjoy a beautiful work of art in boxing. It doesnt come along very often, so just take it for what it is. No one boxer possesses all the skills in one package like Floyd.
By the way, I am not a Floyd fanatic. I am a fanatic of boxing. Terry Norris would of kicked some of these boxers ass if not all of them, that everyone is saying is so good.Comment
