Bump as this now seems to be sort-of confirmed.

I stand by what I said Adam.

This will do wonders for Dave's profile, being it on ITV.

Mind you, don't under-estimate Enzo Blow.

Okay, it never got made because Warren wanted options on Haye for more than one fight.

But regardless, the feature that inspired the poll - a survey in Boxing Monthly, it was coincidence that it was almost made after they announced it - has now been published.

Of those surveyed - who may not be entirely neutral as it included Warren and various managers - 29 to 21 picked Enzo. Of the Boxing Monthly regular staff writers, it was 4-3 in favour of Haye.

I still say Haye, as did most of those polled here.

              So did I.

And Warren knew it, too. No way would he put his man in with potentially the most dangerous cruiserweight in the world, no way. And then he goes and blames it on them - sorry, Frank, but why do you have to have options on people? Why can't it just be one fight and that's it. If I was Haye I wouldnt have gone for the deal because, win or lose, he would have been promoted by Warren after the fight! **** that. Now Enzo can waste his career away whilst Haye continues to build. That WBO belt will be defended over and over again against people that have next to no chance of not getting stopped let alone winning, whilst Haye hopefully wins the world title and then moves up to heavy.

Warren makes me sick, he is ruining boxing in this country and will be at least partly responsible when UFC and MMA take over. Why bother watching a sport when the best never fight each other when you could watch a sport when the best ALWAYS fight each other? It takes the piss because boxing is SO much more exciting than those two sports, but when fights like this are pissed up the wall who could blame the punters for going elsewhere?

Sorry if I went on a bit but I've got tickets to the April show so I was more than slightly gutted when this fight didnt go ahead!

Damn shame it didn't happen. Although another domestic (and quite likely) loss for Haye might have spelled disaster for him.
