    David Haye vs. Enzo Macrinelli?

Note: if you have no interest in this thread, or haven't seen at least three fights of both boxers, feel free to join one of the other threads - there are another 19 on this page.

The magazine Boxing Monthly is conducting a survey of "experts" in the next issue to see who they think would win a hypothetical match-up between these two Cruiserweights.

Just when it seemed as if it might be a fight that never took place, Haye's team took out a full page ad in the trade paper Boxing News specifically to offer Macrinelli a "no strings" challenge, with £150,000 (c. $280,000) to be given to him for taking it on. The bout looks ever nearer, but who wins it?

I think the longer it lasts, the more it favours Enzo, but I don't think it will last that long... I think Haye will take him out very early. What say you?

If Dave punches as Enzo punches, he'll win soon enough. Dave will beat him to the punch.

Do you think Enzo's packing glass? I suspect that to be the case.

Not really. Just that Dave is a faster puncher, and will constantly beat him to the punch if he punches with him. Dave's packing dynamite. Enzo is probably a little heavier handed, though.

Enzo would need to fight smart and try to take Haye into the later rounds but....I cant see him doing that, Enzo can punch and his ego will push him to open up on Haye and this will play into Haye's hands because although they can both punch it looks to me as if Haye has the better chin and the edge in power.

          I see a stoppage around 4 or 5!

Haye would dominate him, enzo is slow compared to haye, haye would hit him with the jab and them set him up for consistent big punches

i see haye winning in around 6 rounds

It looks increasingly likely... Haye have said they have a date in April on SKY Sports, and have offered £150,000 to Enzo for it.

if he has a date in april then it could be enzo as i dont think bell will fight him that early, problem could be with frank warren and itv not wanting him to fight on sky.
